Our senior management team at Alvington House has extensive experience of working in care sector. We are proud of the fact that most have been with us for more than 15 years, representing a continuity of care that we believe is important to all of our residents.
Carol has been with Alvington House for 25 years. She began her career working in a hospital and gradually climbed the ladder from care assistant to manager, gathering invaluable experience of caring for older people along the way. As Manager at Alvington House, she is responsible for overseeing the day to day operation of our home, ensuring that the wheels run smoothly and that our care and facilities are of the highest standards.
Another of our long servers, Amanda has been with Alvington House for 15 years. Her role is to support the Manager and deliver a quality of care and support to the residents. Amanda is in charge of keeping our residents in the best of health, both physically and mentally, and for meeting any medical or care needs they may have. She is the principal liaison between Alvington House residents and our visiting health professionals such as GPs, dietician, physiotherapist, occupational therapist.
Amanda’s qualifications include an NVQ Level 5.
Sarah has over 20 years experience in the catering industry and is responsible for all meal planning for our residents, including catering for those with special dietary needs, and ensuring that all food is varied, tasty and nutritious.
